There are two ways to use Facebook Proxys. When you visit a site such as Proxy.Org, they simply provide a box that says “Enter a URL to visit:”. There, you type in http://www.facebook.com and then you are done.
In other proxy server lists, you will see something that looks like this: 189.38.253.105:8080. Well, what does all that mean?
It looks complicated but it’s really very simple. The X.X.X.X before the colon represents the IP Address, every computer’s unique identifier on the Internet. Following the colon, the “8080″ is the port # which computers use to make requests.
