How To Watch the Superbowl Online

In this article, we are going to review with you how to watch the Superbowl online.

This year promises to be one of the best Superbowls in a long time.  This Superbowl 2011 features the Green Bay Packers and their high flying offense against the steady Pittsburgh Steelers.  Nearly everyone thinks that this will be a Superbowl for the ages, one which will surely not disappoint.

Unfortunately, there are many people who have to work during the game and need to know how to watch the Superbowl online.  There are ways that you can watch the Superbowl online and I am going to share that information with you.  If you are in a hurry, click this watch the Superbowl now link to get started.

I began searching for a way to watch football online a few months ago as I was anxiously awaiting an Arizona Cardinals game and found myself, once again, at work.  And, as it turns out, it is not that difficult to watch football on TV.

Let’s take a look at what you need to make this happen.

First, and obviously, you will need a computer to watch any type of TV on the Internet.  This computer does not need to be a new one but it should have a minimum of 1GB of memory which most computers in the last several years have.  Watching the Superbowl on a computer of lesser memory would probably work though I have not tried it.

Next up, and perhaps most importantly, you will want to have a nice computer monitor to have the experience of watching the Superbowl be the absolute best.  At work, I am fortunate to have relatively new 22 inch Samsung Monitor.  This performs extremely well for watching football.  Of course, any monitor will do, but the newer monitors will enhance your viewing.  If you will be watching at home, I recommend that you  read the article connect PC to TV which tells you how to hook up your computer to your LCD TV which will give you a great Superbowl picture!

Finally, you need to have a reasonably fast Internet connection.  The sports program that allows you to watch the Superbowl online says that any broadband connection will work just fine.  Thus, unless you are still using dial up connectivity, you will be able to watch football on your computer just fine.

If you have all of these different components, which virtually everyone does now-a-days, you are equipped to watch TV on your computer.

Now, the question becomes:   Where do you go on the Internet to watch the Superbowl online?

Officially, there is only one response to this and it is only adequate for people living overseas.  All of these overseas people can watch the Superbowl at NFL Gamepass.  NFL Gamepass, if you have not seen it, is an NFL fans dream come true.  You can watch any NFL game live in high-def and pull up past games and rewatch every single play.  You can even pause and rewind live games like with a DVR.  However, due to the NFL’s broadcast deals, this phenomenal site is only available to people living overseas.

So, what should you do if you are living in the United States and need to watch the Superbowl online?

Again, this is not the official answer because, according to the NFL, you can only officially watch the Superbowl on TV.  However, there are a couple of sites that I have found to be very useful.  You can either visit Watch NFL Football Online and sign up for this site which permits you to watch NFL games online live.   Or, you can try the site called ChannelSurfing, which runs live sports of all varieties.

Remember, officially, the only place that you can watch Packers and the Steelers in the Superbowl is on TV or, if you are outside the U.S., with NFL GamePass.

However, if you are in a pinch, there are places to go that you can watch the Superbowl online.
