On a recent visit to San Francisco, I learned that a large number of guys do Match.com to get dates. These are not guys you would consider pathetic or lame but guys who could get dates in the real world. However, they get even more dates on Match.com and the rewards are rather…instantaneous. My friends told me of a particular New York Craigslist post the other night that I had not seen. In the post, a “spectacularly beautiful” woman requests a man who earns greater than $500,000 a year. A man responds to her that her beauty is a “depreciating asset” while his money will continue to grow. His response garnered much attention.
I searched the Internet to find this post and bring it those of you who have not seen it. Without further ado, I bring you the spectacularly beautiful women who wants a rich man and the man who views her, at best, as someone to date in the short term. You can read my thoughts below. I had a friend at work who, in his pursuit of someone, was rather persistent. People would somewhat jokingly refer to him as a stalker. He would say, “I prefer to call it dedication.”
Well, meet Dimitri. Dimitri could even teach my friend a thing or two. If you have not yet seen Dimitri on youtube, you have not yet seen what true dedication is all about

Many girlfriends ask the following question: Why Is My Boyfriend Acting the Way He Is?
As a guy, I can certainly see why women would ask that question. We men can often be found wondering Why Is My Girlfriend Acting the Way She Is?
But as a guy, I would like to shed some light on the question that many of you are asking. So, without further ado, here are five things to consider when you wonder:
Why Is My Boyfriend Acting the Way He Is? Continue Reading »

I was just about to create an entry about the legality of prostitution in many countries when various Internet searches brought me to Sally, who is struggling with this very issue in an article entitled “Let’s Talk About Sex“.
Apparently, Sally is a feminist; I liked the way she thinks through, and struggles, with the problem. I’m not a feminist (can a guy even be one?) and would not immediately say I appreciate feminism given the stereotypical images it conjures up. Continue Reading »

In talking with some of my recent college graduate friends about sex in college now-a-days, one girl mentioned to me that the participants had to sign a sexual consent legal form before actually having sex.
Excuse Me?
In our discussions, a few of the gals mentioned that they had had drunk sex a few times that they could scarcely remember. So, if the guy, presumably also drunk, does not get the girl to sign the sexual consent form, can he then be accused of rape? Or, better yet, could he accuse her of rape? Continue Reading »

The role of intuition in relationships between males and females is unrealized.
I began writing an article entitled “Should Women Travel For Their Men” when I came across the word intuition and found that people were wondering when, where, and if, intuition should factor into their relationships. Continue Reading »

I met her on the beginning of my journey from St. Louis, Missouri to the Florida Panhandle. My parents, who were riding with me, already seemed to know her.
From the moment she said “hello”, I felt something different, new, a sense that we would be together for awhile. Continue Reading »

If you are single, you may be able to relate to what I am about to say. If you are married, it may be somewhat more foreign.
When you are a single man, you tend to do a lot of dating…or hopefully you do. Dating is fun and exciting and sometimes you allow yourself to be open to many choices.
It so happened that one night I was out on a blind date. Continue Reading »

I noticed the other day that I was receiving several visitors to my website who were from France. I do have several friends in France but I have not written anything specifically about France so I found it beyond coincidence that these all occurred around a similar time.
There were several visits to my article Put Some F*@cking Clothes On, writings about a straight man’s experience in San Francisco. Continue Reading »
