Money Versus Beauty

Published by Richard under My A-Musings, Relatonships/Sex

women and moneyMy friends told me of a particular New York Craigslist post the other night that I had not seen.   In the post, a “spectacularly beautiful” woman requests a man who earns greater than $500,000 a year.  A man responds to her that her beauty is a “depreciating asset” while his money will continue to grow.  His response garnered much attention.

I searched the Internet to find this post and bring it those of you who have not seen it.  Without further ado, I bring you the spectacularly beautiful women who wants a rich man and the man who views her, at best, as someone to date in the short term.   You can read my thoughts below. Dimitri Phone Message

Published by Richard under My A-Musings, Relatonships/Sex

I had a friend at work who, in his pursuit of someone, was rather persistent.  People would somewhat jokingly refer to him as a stalker.  He would say, “I prefer to call it dedication.”

Well, meet Dimitri.  Dimitri could even teach my friend a thing or two.  If you have not yet seen Dimitri on youtube, you have not yet seen what true dedication is all about  :) Continue Reading »

Greg Norman Leads The Open Championship

At 53, Greg Norman is shockingly in the lead at the British Open at Royal Birkdale.  In an interview, Jim Hubert asked him if he felt compelled to catch up to new wife Chris Everet’s  tennis majors.  Jim, she’s won 18; he has 2.  Silly question.

A better question might be:  “Greg how can you play so well after just handing over $103 million to your ex-wife?Continue Reading »

Why is Prostitution Illegal in the US?

Published by Richard under Relatonships/Sex

I was just about to create an entry about the legality of prostitution in many countries when various Internet searches brought me to Sally, who is struggling with this very issue in an article entitled “Let’s Talk About Sex“.

Apparently, Sally is a feminist; I liked the way she thinks through, and struggles, with the problem.  I’m not a feminist (can a guy even be one?) and would not immediately say I appreciate feminism given the stereotypical  images it conjures up.  Continue Reading »

What Can I Do On The Internet When I’m Bored

Published by Richard under My A-Musings

top things to do when boredI just found out today that hundreds of people everyday go to google and type in the term “I’m bored“.  I found this out because I was bored and I was wondering what can I do on the internet when I’m bored.  It turns out a lot of people are looking for fun things to do at work when bored and top things to do when bored.

It’s good that bored people have a lot of company; at least they’re not bored and lonely.

But the bored people have it good.  A subset of the “I’m bored” sect trump their counterparts by saying “I’m so bored.”  Continue Reading »
