If you are wondering if there is going to be a Seinfeld reunion show, there already has been. Well, sort of…
I happened upon the Seinfeld reunion show accidentally as I was watching the Season Finale of the Larry David Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, on HBO.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is a semi-autographical show of Larry David, the co-creator of Seinfeld. It’s an excellent show if you take it in the proper dosage. Larry David is a bit like Woody Allen to me: A little is brilliant and a lot is annoying. Continue Reading »

At the end of my viewing of Avatar, the audience all clapped. They clapped because the human race fell to a society of extraterrestrials.
Why is this? Are humans beings discontent with the world they inhabit, with themselves?

If you think the life of a serial killer or author/ladies man are all peaches and cream, as you might if you are a fan of Dexter or Californication, you have not yet caught the season finales of each.
Europeans often criticize American television and film because everything has a happy ending. They would be very pleased with the finales of Dexter and Californication. I was not pleased. I was just depressed. Continue Reading »

Tigers Woods was ostensibly involved in a car crash Thanksgiving Night, but the circumstances are certainly strange and some suspect he was beaten by his wife (who suspected infidelity) and that this is a case of domestic violence.
I pride myself on decorum and like to think that I am above all of this tawdry speculation about what really happened with Tiger Woods. Are you kidding me? Let’s have at it!
First, as we explore this situation, let me say that one reason that I always root for Phil Mickelson over Tiger Woods is that Tiger is too perfect, robotic like in his quest for championships. Phil Mickelson has always been his human counterpart and when he wins it is like a human victory over a robot.
If anything, this Tiger Woods situation makes me like him more. It makes him more human. In fact, Tiger Woods even admitted to it, albeit with robotic-like precision: “I’m human and I’m not perfect” is what he said, almost as if he was surprising himself with this statement.
Why else would I want to write about the Tiger Woods car crash and alleged affairs? There is A LOT of hot babes involved and more seemingly coming through the “wood” work (all puns intended).
The whole story begins so humbly, so lovingly. See photo below:

However, not all is as it appears. Continue Reading »

In this YouTube must see video, a group of lions attack a buffalo calf, an alligator then bites the calf, and then the buffalo save the calf and scare the lions.
My parents told me about this video on YouTube and I finally found it. This is truly the best live, wildlife video that I have seen.
This video takes place in Kruger National Park in South Africa. I have never been on a “safari” because it would be difficult to find a pub. But, if I ever do, I must put Kruger on the radar after seeing this video. Here is the full 8 minute video where the lions eat the calf, the alligator also eats the calf, and the buffalo return to attack and intimidate the lions. Continue Reading »

With the Roku HD Player, you never need to visit Blockbuster again. This Roku HD Player allows you to download movies via Netflix or Amazon on Demand and begin watching them right away.
I prefer ideas to products and that is why I do not do many product reviews. However, this product is such a cool idea that I wanted to talk quickly about it.
I was reviewing this list of the Best Christmas Gifts as the Holiday time is approaching and one product really caught my eye: this Roku HD Player.
I had never heard of it: Have you? Continue Reading »

Last week, I sat through the Michael Jackson movie This Is It and it was one of those rare movies that made me want to…walk out.
This Is It basically contains footage of the concert that never was, the concert that was to begin shortly after his sudden death this summer.
In Reaction to Michael Jackson’s Death, I wrote about the untimely death of Michael Jackson and the ambivalent feelings I had.
I was interested in seeing This Is It to learn more about the man, to see if it provided a better understanding of Michael as a person. The movie promised an inside look at Michael featuring “rare behind-the-scenes footage of the King of Pop” like we have never seen. Continue Reading »

A marginal movie can become a really good movie if you enjoy the topic.
This was the case when I watched He’s Just Not That Into You. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie because the topic is compelling: Do women realize when a guy is just not into them? The movie is more than that as well…it’s about relationships between men and women. Continue Reading »
